There are many secluded and remote campsites in this area, our favourite is a little off the beaten track and not easily accessible by car so feels very remote.
This is an ideal place to setup a wild camp to sleep under the stars. We'll make a camp fire to cook over and roast marshmallows.
To wake up watching the sun rise over the top of the nearby mountain range directly from our sleeping bag is always a great way to start the day before a mornings hike back to our cars.

The hike typically takes 2-3 hours to get to the remote camp site.
We will aim to arrive at the campsite about 1hr before sunset so that we can put up our tents and get the campfire going before it gets dark. Then, once the sun has set we can cook dinner, toast marshmallows and ponder the infinite wonder of the universe.
In the morning we'll break camp no later than 9am and head back to wherever we parked the cars.
